On Set Hair Productions Inc. in association with Joaquin C Palacin presents PORTFOLIO BUILDING WORKSHOP
Celebrity hairstylist and makeup artist Susan Lipson and internationally acclaimed photographer Joaquin Palacin have joined forces in a first of its kind workshop: building portfolios that showcase the artistry top agencies seek out.
This workshop offers artists the opportunity to work in a professional environment with all the necessary elements to create tear sheet quality prints found in magazines such as Vogue, In Style, Elle, and many more. This workshop provides a structured system where a team of artists (hair, makeup, stylist, model) meet with Susan and Joaquin, one-on-one. A theme is chosen and four looks are developed for one model. There are five teams that collaborate together to design their looks within the theme developed at the initial meeting.
Categories within the theme include: Clean, Beauty, Fashion, Avant-Guard.
Monthly workshops offer you the opportunity to build on your portfolio with each workshop resulting in four prints professionally touched for your portfolio. If you are serious about your career and ready to move forward we can help you.
The fee for the Portfolio Building Workshop is $500.00.
About Susan Lipson
Over 20 years of experience in the hair industry has earned Susan Lipson her reputation as an expert Hairdresser, Make-up Artist, Extension Artist, and Hair Colorist. Her work in the film and television industries has given her the chance to express her creative mind while transforming actors into believable characters. She uses this approach with customers who are yearning for a brand new look. A wide range of celebrities such as Drew Barrymore, Kirsten Dunst, Cristina Applegate, and Kate Beckinsale have chosen Susan as their Extension Expert/Colorist after appreciating first hand how she is a master of her craft behind the scenes.

Joaquin Palacin was born in Barcelona, Spain. His passion for photography and adventure has led him to explore and live in many parts of the world resulting in a wealth of experiences and a command of six languages, including Japanese. His talent has ensured his work to be published in some of the most prestigious magazines in the world such as Vogue, Elle ,Style… Having lived Many years abroad in Canada , Japan, USA and many more. This sentimental world traveller actually resides in Barcelona, Monaco and LA.
Living for the art of the work, realizing locations others would pass by and passionately searching for the right light. Combining with mastery and ability the great architectural majesty of Europe with that of the best fashion designers. His visions are realized into contemporary works of art. With an arsenal of experience and ability, his latin character makes him capable of improvising and overcoming any obstacle.
